Who can apply for the post

• Indian Nationals
• Foreign nationals who are Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), in whose case, if selected, permission will be sought from Govt. of India before he/she can join BIT or,
• Other foreign Nationals, in whose case, if selected, appointment will be on contract basis for up to five years, subject to the permission from the Govt. of India before he/she can join BIT.

Qualification requirement

Professor	Minimum 10 years Teaching / Research / Industrial Experience, excluding experience gained during Ph. D. Programme, of which at least 4 years as Associate Professor in premier Academic Institution.
Associate Professor	Minimum 6 years Teaching / Research / Industrial Experience excluding experience gained during Ph. D. Programme, of which at least 3 years as Assistant Professor in premier Academic Institution.
Assistant Professor	Minimum 3 years Teaching / Research / Industrial Experience, excluding experience gained during Ph. D. Programme

Specialization
Inorganic & Environmental /Organic & Medicinal / Physical & Computational / Analytical & Materials Chemistry.
