Qualification and experience requirement
Master degree in Oceanography/Marine Sciences/Earth Sciences or equivalent or Bachelors degree in engineering in Marine Sciences from recognized university/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks.
Desirable:- Doctorate in the relevant field (i) Participation in Scientific Cruises, (ii) Experiences in Vessel management and /or laisoning with shipping agencies.
Job Requirement : To manage Oceanography research vessels (Logistics of the cruises and tasks related to acquisition of new vessels), formulate AMC of ship borne equipment, arranging mandatory clearances for research vessels etc.
