Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India is an autonomous institute which is working under the control of Department of Biotechnology which is under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
To strengthen the research and other related work the institute intends to recruit the following job, only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the dates of interview.

Qualification, experience and skill set requirement
- M.Tech in Engineering (Biotechnology or Biomedical or Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering) or PhD in Life Sciences.
- A minimum of 12 years experience in a central or state government owned research institute or an international/ multi-national or national biotechnology organization or industry with a very strong R&D component in a high throughput molecular biology laboratory, familiarity with standard molecular biology/nucleic acid-based protocol, including DNA amplification, labeling, purification, quantification, PCR, RT-PCR, array-hybridization, etc and direct experience with DNA sequencing instruments.
- Candidates should be fast learners, flexible, highly motivated and team players.
- Experience in assisting implementation of major research projects
