Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India is an autonomous institute which is working under the control of Department of Biotechnology which is under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
To strengthen the research and other related work the institute intends to recruit the following job, only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the dates of interview.

Qualification, experience and skill set requirement
First Class Post Graduate in Science/Computer Science or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology) with three years documented working experience in the relevant area in State or Central Government research institutions or high end international IT organizations.
Documented experience in the application of bioinformatics and computational biology tools, experience in commercial and free bioinformatics packages, experience in developing databases and software, peer reviewed research publications, organizing and coordinating training programs. Fluency in at least one of the following: C/C++, Perl, SQL, HTML, and JAVA and a working knowledge of relational databases and system administration is preferred. Familiarity with public sequence databases and standard sequence analysis tools is highly desirable.
