Qualification and experience required	:	A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part-II of third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Act.) The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council. A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. (Biochemistry/Microbiology) of an Indian University or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Post graduate qualification e.g. Master’s Degree viz., M.Sc. in Biological Sciences like Biochemistry /Microbiology /Biotechnology /Molecular Biology/ Bio-science /Physiology. Ph.D. degree in the subject concerned/allied subject, of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission.
