Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board Recruitment project 2011 for multiple vacancies required at Chandigarh

Candidates required to submit their job applications only through online application mode, no other mode of applications will be accepted.

Online applications will be accepted up to 16.05.2011.

After registering the applications through online, candidates required to send the print out of the system generated application to the undersigned along with attested copies of all the testimonials.
Candidates also required to send the application fee of 500/- [Rs.250/- for SC/BC and for EXS fee is exempted] drawn in favour of Marketing Development Fund, payable at Chandigarh.

The requirement of positions and qualification is as follows:


Secretary Market Committee
  • Should possess degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from a recognized university:
  • Provided that the persons having rural back ground (Explanation: For the purpose of this item, the persons, who have studied in the schools, situated in the rural areas for a minimum period of five years, and have passed Middle Standard Examination and Senior Secondary (Ten-plus-two) Examination from such schools shall be deemed to have rural background), and the persons having higher qualification of Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics or Master’s degree of Business Administration from a recognized university will be given preference.
Junior Auditor
  • Should be a Graduate with Economics as one of the subjects or should be a Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university.
Steno-typist
  • Should be a Graduate from a recognized university or institution;
  • Should qualify a test in Punjabi Stenography at a speed of 80 w.p.m.;
  • Should have passed at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified
OR
  • Should have passed a course in Computer Information Technology equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate
Clerk
  • Should be a Graduate from a recognized university or institution;
  • Should qualify a test in Punjabi Typewriting, to be conducted by the the appointing authority at the speed of 30 words per minute within one year from the
  • date of his appointment, failing which no annual increments shall be allowed till he qualifies such test;
  • Should have passed at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified
OR
  • Should have passed a course in Computer Information Technology equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses(DOEACC) of Government of India”.
Junior Engineer (Civil/Public Health)
  • Should possess Diploma in Civil Engineering of a recognized Institute.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)
  • Should possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering of a recognized Institute.
Junior Draftsman (Civil/Public Health)
  • Should have passed Matriculation examination and should possess two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in respective trade of Draftsman.

Legal Assistant
  • Should possess LL.B Degree (Professional) of recognized University with three years experience at the Bar.
Section Officer
  • Should be Graduate of a recognized University and should have passed Subordinate Accounts Service Examination.
Computer Operator
  • Should be a Graduate from a recognized university or institution;
  • Should qualify a test in Punjabi Typewriting, to be conducted by the appointing authority at the speed of 30 words per minute within one year from the
  • date of his appointment, failing which no annual increments shall be allowed till he qualifies such test;

OR

Sub Divisional Officer(Civil)- cum-Assistant Estate Officer
  • Should possess Degree in Engineering (Civil) or should be an associate member of Institute of Engineering (Civil) of a recognized University or Institute.
Junior Engineer (Civil)-cum-Estate Assistant
  • Should possess Diploma in Civil Engineering of a recognized Institute.
Assistant Programmer
  • Should be a Graduate of a recognized University with one year experience in Computer Programming in a Department of the Government or in a private firm of repute. Provided that preference will be given to a candidate having one year diploma course in Computer Science of a recognized Institute.
Junior Programmer
  • Should be a Graduate of a recognized University and should possess certificate of diploma course in Computer Science of a recognized Institute.
