Candidates required to pay an application fee of Rs.100/- (Rs. 50/- SC/ST/NT-DT/OBC/Physically Handicapped candidates of Maharashtra State) in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai.
It is mandatory on the part of candidates to read and understand the terms and conditions laid down by the organization in their official notification.

Required qualification and experience
A Master’s Degree in Science/Humanities/Arts with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed);
M.Ed. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed);
and
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET
