Professional Skills
- 4+ years of software development experience with Java 1.6 and the following frameworks / tools: Java Servlets 2.4, Spring 2.5, JDBC, Hibernate 3.4, Web Start, NetBeans, Tomcat 5+, Oracle Weblogic 8.1+, JUnit, Fitnesse, Hudson, Ant/Maven, SVN
- Experience in software development methodologies
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle 10gR2 in high data volume installations, solid SQL knowledge, proven track record in relational data modelling (3NF) and database performance tuning
- Telecom Billing experience is a strong plus
- In-depth knowledge of Data Structures and Sorting Algorithms
- Full development lifecycle in an agile methodology, change and release management
- Strong knowledge in SDLC, Release process and use of different methodologies like Waterfall, SCRUM etc
- Experience in developing and deploying web based applications to a large extranet user basis
- Source code control, build process, other development processes/ tools.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Oracle Certified Associate Developer (OCAD) is a strong plus
- Full development lifecycle in an agile methodology (incl. test driven development, continuous integration), change and release management
Business Skills
- Able to work in a fast-changing fast-paced environment meeting deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Able to fully understand the system architecture and the development and release process and apply technical solutions
- Exposure in writing business requirements, technical specifications and end-user system documentation
- Exposure in Telecom Fraud and Revenue Assurance systems is a strong plus
Personal Skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English – any additional language is a plus
