Mode of application to be made

Candidates required to pay an application form in the form of non-refundable demand draft for Rs.100/- and Rs.50/- depending on the posts [No fee for SC/ST candidates] drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Ropar, payable at Rupnagar, Punjab.

It is mandatory on the part of candidates to read and understand the terms and conditions laid down by the organization in their official notification.

Candidates required to submit their job applications separates for each post applied for at different campuses.

Miscellaneous Information

Outstation candidates called for test/interview will be paid 2nd Class Railway Fare through Demand Draft (to be sent later) from the place of duty/residence to Rupnagar/Place of Test/Interview and back by the shortest route.

Applicants serving in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies must send their applications “Through Proper Channel”. The applications received without the recommendations of the employers will not be considered. However, an advance copy of application may be sent followed by the original application through proper channel.

Separate application form along with enclosures and application fee should be used for each post applied for.

Required qualification and experience

M.Com. and knowledge of accounting software.

Desirable:

• SAS/JAO exam passed from any of the Organized Accounts Deptt./ Audit Deptt.
• 3 years experience in Internal Audit/ Audit work of Central Govt. / Autonomous body OR working experience with educational/ research Institute.
• Sound knowledge of preparation of bank reconciliation statements & final accounts.
• Experience in computerized accounting environment.
