Responsibilities
:
  • Collection of Cost and Planning data from Capital Projects at fixed intervals
  • Liaison with Project Services Engineers in Capital Projects is essential.
  • Analyse,interrogate and normalise the captured raw data
  • Input analysed data in the DCMT database
  • Prepare reports for PS community
  • Follow-up of ad-hoc requests on benchmarking and metrics
  • Data capture and benchmarking direct impact in improving Shell’s project performance to become Top Quartile (TQ).
  • Improve the performance of a large number of major projects
  • Influencing and communicating with a large number of Project Services staff
  • Maintaining credibility across many organizational layers,in many different locations and over a very diverse portfolio
  • Work effectively as part of a dispersed team
Requirements

  • Project (services) engineer with cost experience in Project Front End Development phases as well as Execution phase
  • Skills in working with Cost Management / Estimation tools
  • Experience with project delivery and benchmarking
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas industry
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Good communicator & facilitator
  • Analytical thinker
  • Ability to work across multi-cultural / multi-national environments
