Qualification and Experience desired	:	Ph. D degree with 1st class (60%) or equivalent grade (6.5/10) at the B.Tech. / M.Sc. / M.A / MBA level in appropriate branch At least 10 years of post Ph. D teaching/ research /industrial experience, out of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent
Required specialization in the concerned discipline	:	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with first division and with 8 years experience in the relevant field at the level of Assistant Engineer or equivalent. Relaxation of 2 years in experience will be given to those possessing postgraduate qualification in Construction Management/ Structural Engineering or equal fields. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates who have served for atleast 2 years as Executive Engineer having experience in coordination and supervision of constructions and maintenance of civil works including Public Health. The incumbent should have experience in contract management, tendering, planning, works accounts procedures, bye-laws and of local bodies, understanding of electrical, AC, telephone, computer networking etc., and construction projects of multi-storeyed buildings and having experience in Planning /estimating/tendering as per CPWD/ PWD norms. Very good knowledge of CPWD manuals, preparation/ checking of estimates drawings, structural details, bill of quantities, preparation of tender documents, justification statements, addition/ substitute/ deviation items, statements and other associated issues related with building and construction.
