Junior Research Fellow jobs in Centre for Marine Living Resources and Ecology in Cochin, Kerala, India

All these Government jobs are to be filled in Cochin in Kerala, India.

Selection of candidates will be done through walk in interview to be held on 04.08.2011 from 10.00 am.

Candidates required to go through official notification in detail.

Those who are already in government service should produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview

No TA or DA is admissible for attending interview or test.

Required educational & experience profile
Junior Research Fellow (3 nos.) - (Rs.12,000 - 14,000 + HRA):
Essential qualifications - First class M.Sc in Chemical Oceanography/Analytical
Chemistry /Hydrochemistry/Environmental Science or equivalent from any
recognized university.

Desirable - Knowledge on biogeochemical processes in the coastal and deep-sea regions and sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC, TOC analyzer,
Elemental analyzer, Gas Chromatograph, etc.

Junior Research Fellow (5 nos.) - (Rs.12,000 - 14,000 + HRA):
Essential qualifications - First class M.Sc in Marine Biology /Zoology /Environmental science or equivalent from any recognized university.

Desirable - Knowledge on phytoplankton and zooplankton identification,
biogeochemical processes, food-web dynamics, etc.

Junior Research Fellow (1 no.) - (Rs.12,000 - 14,000 + HRA):
Essential qualifications - First class M.Sc in Microbiology / Marine Biology /Zoology/ Environmental Science or equivalent from any recognized university.

Desirable - Knowledge on Bacterial identification, their metabolism, culturing, foodweb dynamics, biogeochemical processes, etc.

Junior Research Fellow (2 no.) - (Rs.12,000 - 14,000 + HRA):
Essential qualifications - First class M.Sc in Fishery / Biotechnology/Marine Biology / Zoology or equivalent from any recognized university.

Desirable - Knowledge on marine fishes taxonomy, identification, their dynamics, marine Biotechnology, etc.
