Education and experience requirement	:	A Degree preferably in Science from a recognized University or equivalent; and Station Officer’s Course of NFSC, Nagpur or Grade-I Fire ‘E’ or equivalent; and Three years’ experience in fire fighting in Civil/Defence fire service organization/public undertaking in the capacity of sub officer or equivalent. Should have minimum physical standard i.e. height – 165 cm. (Relaxation of 5 cm for Hilly Area people); Minimum weight – 50 kg, Chest (normal) – 81 cm, Chest (expanded) - 86.5 cm OR B. i) Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. Should have minimum physical standard i.e. height – 165 cm. (Relaxation of 5 cm for Hilly Area people); Minimum weight – 50 kg, Chest (normal) – 81 cm, Chest (expanded) - 86.5 cm. DESIRABLE: Heavy vehicle driving license.
