Candidates required to furnish a non-refundable demand draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favor of Director, National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow payable at Lucknow, however regular employees of the organization and SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Those who are already in government service should send their applications through proper channel.

Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid single second class rail fare to and fro by the shortest route from the place of residence/actual departing station in India, whichever is nearer to the place of interview.

Qualification and experience requirement
:
Ph. D. (submitted/awarded) in Botany/Plant Science in the area of Plant Taxonomy.

Desirable : Research experience in germplasm collection, documentation, propagation and conservation of plant wealth including elite and Rare, Endangered & Threatened species in conservatories and controlled climate conditions by using the biotechnological approaches, including plant tissue culture for plant conservation and propagation of elite germplasm.
