Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a division under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti which is an autonomous organization under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Candidates who fulfill the basic eligibilities can to apply only through online application mode which commences from 12.12.2011 and applications will be received up to 13.01.2012.
Candidates required to pay an application fee in any branches of Union Bank of India across India with the help of Challan format provided by the organization for Rs.500/-, however SC/ST/Women candidates are not required to make application fee.
Candidates required to pay application fee before submission of application through online.
Application fee from eligible candidates will be accepted from 12.12.2011 to 13.01.2012.
Written test for the eligible candidates for the posts will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bangalore, Jammu, Bhopal, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Dehradun, Raipur, Delhi, Ranchi, Guwahati, Shimla, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Imphal and Thiruvananthapuram.
The disciplines for which the posts are required to be filled are English, Economics, Hindi, Biology, Physics, History, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Commerce.
Candidates who have done the educational attainments in the disciplines mentioned below are eligible to apply for the posts.
M.Sc with not less than 50% of marks from Regional College of Education of NCERT
OR
Masters Degree with not less than 50% of marks in English or Hindi or Physics / Applied Physics / Electronics Physics / Nuclear Physics Chemistry / Bio Chemistry or Mathematics / Applied Mathematics or Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics or Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences / Bio Sciences/ Genetics / Micro Biology / Bio Technology /Molecular Bio / Plant Physiology provided that applicant had studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level or History or Geography or Commerce with Accounting/Cost Accounting/ Financial Accounting as a major subject of study.
Those who hold Degree of M.Com. in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
Apart from the above qualification candidate should have B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English languages.
Call letters in respect of eligible candidates will be uploaded in the official website and an intimation of the same will be sent to concerned candidates in SMS or email mode hence candidates required to maintain the personal email ID provided till the recruitment project is completed.
Candidates required to produce the fee paid challan copy at the time of written test and original documents will be verified at the time of interview.
