Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India is an autonomous institute which is working under the control of Department of Biotechnology which is under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
To strengthen the research and other related work the institute intends to recruit the following job, only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the dates of interview.

Qualification, experience and skill set requirement
· A Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Bioinformatics with at least five years documented work experience in computational biology and/or bioinformatics in national research institutes, state government institutes, international or multi-national or national pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations.
· Peer reviewed publications in Computational Biology and/or Bioinformatics.
· A higher degree such as MTech, MPhil or PhD in a discipline related to Computational Biology, Systems Biology and/or Bioinformatics.
· A proven track record of initiating and securing studies for multidisciplinary bioinformatics research; experience in grant development, execution and project management as project investigator or co-project investigator and demonstrated record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications and the ability to compete for grant funding.
