Education and experience requirement

• B.Tech, M.Sc./M.S in Computer Science, MCA or equivalent from recognised Institutions
• or
• Post graduation degree in (Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Business Economics etc.) with one year or more certificate course in computer software/applications from recognised Institute

or

• Graduate with 3 years Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent from recognised institutions

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years experience in computer programming applications in govt. office/scientific organisations.
• 4-5 years experience in planning training activities in collaboration with government and partner institutions

Desirable

• Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Mining Technologies
• Experience in knowledge management; expert systems; establishment of M & E Systems
• Proficiency in use of statistical software like SPSS,SAS etc
• Ability to use standard computer programmes, word processing, spread sheet and presentation software
• Preferable experience of organizing training of health officials in HMIS and M&E
• 4-5 years experience in large scale data processing, data warehousing and data mining technologies
• Minimum 4-5 years experience of working with Development partners and State Governments and its agencies, scientific organisations preferably in the health/social sector
• Track record of working within government systems/scientific organisations, and preferable in the health/social sector
• Use of hand-held devices in data collection, management and its processing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
