Qualification requirement
- An eminent scholar actively engaged in teaching/ research/ extension with published work* of high quality and having Ph.D. degree in the subject of Computer Science and/or Engineering/ Information Technology/ Bioinformatics with good academic record.
- Ten years experience in teaching/ research/ extension education in the area of Computer Science and/or Engineering/ Information Technology/ Computational Biology and high performance computing out of which, at least two years should be as Associate Professor or equivalent in the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.9000/- and remaining as Assistant Professor or equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree will not be counted as research experience).
- Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (If not the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).
- Published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers
Note: Consolidated Academic Performance Indicators (APIs) score requirement is of 400 points from Category III of APIs under new Career Advancement Scheme.
